TERMS & CONDITIONS
By placing an order with DMD & Associates, Inc., you agree that you are legally bound by and will agree to the terms outlined on this page. DMD & Associates, Inc. may update this page at any time, though you will remain bound to the terms and conditions in place at the time of your order.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Because of the nature of this work (it is a customized service and not a product that can be resold), DMD & Associates, Inc. cannot offer refunds to clients. Full payment is required prior to services being performed.
PROJECT COMPLETION/TIME FRAMES
Commencing. All projects must start within 30 days of receiving payment, otherwise payment is forfeited. Therefore, we must receive your Resume Data (job sample to target, current resume and/or resume questionnaire) and schedule your phone consultation within 30 days from the day your order was placed.
Delivery Date. After client requests materials, DMD & Associates, Inc. will provide a delivery date.
Hours of Operation. We are available to take appointments from our clients between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm CST Monday-Friday. Exceptions can be arranged to be available after hours in advance and may include a service fee. We respond to all email and phone inquiries within 24 hours, with the exception of holidays and weekends.
Completing. You are required to review all career documents and notify us of any needed corrections within 7 days of receipt of career documents (resume, cover letter, biography, LinkedIn profile, etc.) or you will accept work as written. DMD & Associates, Inc. is not responsible for incorporating any changes requested by the client after final resume is submitted to client. Unless other arrangements are made, client agrees to finalize project (or accept work as written) within 7 business days from the day client receives career documents for review.
Delays. All work to be completed in a timely manner subject to acts of God, mechanical failure or other circumstances beyond the control of DMD & Associates, Inc.
Client is entitled to two (2) rounds of revisions within 7 days of delivery of first draft. Edits do not include new content. This includes revisions to all documents, and design. Each document/component in a package must be reviewed and you must supply edits for all documents and design elements at the same time within your entitled revision. It is highly recommended that clients take time reviewing drafts and compiling edits or questions, as there will be two (2) opportunities to do so before the final quality review. Client may ask for whatever number of changes needed as long as it is within the information provided initially, and during two (2) occasions, plus final review. Client may request changes by email or phone. If we do not hear from client within 7 business days after resume submission, we reserve the right to finalize work as written.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENTS
It is the Client’s responsibility to notify DMD & Associates, Inc. 48 hours in advance of the scheduled calls/meetings to reschedule or cancel. If we do not receive your notification at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment start time, or if you miss any appointment (including half-hour career coaching sessions) without notifying our office, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the fee for services scheduled.
POLICY ON PROOFREADING THE DRAFT
DMD & Associates, Inc. is not responsible for errors provided by the client on client worksheet or current resume, or for errors after proofreading and acceptance by client.
DMD & Associates, Inc. is relying on the client’s truth and accuracy of the information presented for preparation of the resume or other document.
DMD & Associates, Inc. does not assume responsibility in researching the accuracy of the information provided by client. Charges are for preparation of the first draft and no more than two revised drafts prior to final copy. Final proofreading is the responsibility of the client. Please take time and proof dossiers.
DMD & Associates, Inc. will make every effort to assure that client documents are perfect, but because of the personal nature of the service provided, client must assume personal responsibility for final proofing and accuracy. Take time and double-check all data. Should the client require more than two revised drafts, an additional fee may accrue until finalized.
Client agrees that the employment market is influenced by many factors beyond the control of DMD & Associates. Client agrees to hold DMD & Associates harmless for any claims related to the employee’s failure to obtain employment or advance career which are not the direct result of DMD & Associates intentional act, failure to act or negligence.
All information shared during, before, and after the duration of our collaboration remains confidential, with the exception of a trusted assistant and editor, if asked to collaborate on the project. This staff member will uphold the same strict levels of confidentiality and discretion as Danielle M. Dayries.
RESUME WRITING BEST PRACTICES
Danielle Dayries of DMD & Associates, Inc. is a seasoned career practitioner and writer who remains current in resume and career marketing best practices and the most effective job search methods to market clients in today’s competitive market. When you hire DMD & Associates, Inc., you are hiring Danielle’s expertise and trusting her guidance through the resume and branding documents development process. DMD & Associates, Inc. does not modify writing practices or embark on resume revisions based on feedback from resume writing critique services, coaching services, or family and friends. We give each project our very best through our proven expertise.
We cannot guarantee job placement. Our clients’ success is the responsibility of our clients. We base our guidance and resume development and self-branding documents on the information you give us, and are not responsible for any omissions, false statements, or other inaccuracies.
It is imperative that you have MS Word on your computer and that you are able to navigate your computer. This means that when you are ready to provide feedback, if your edits are more than just a handful of adjustments, you can communicate those in writing via email or by commenting on the MS Word document.
CONSULTING SERVICES – TERMS OF DELIVERY
For career consulting services, after any consulting program has begun, any unused sessions will not be refunded and must be rescheduled for up to 1 month after the initial payment. All unused sessions expire 3 months after initial payment. All services are virtual unless otherwise agreed upon. Non-virtual services include a fee to be arranged and paid in advance. Please see above about cancellation policy.
Gift Certificates must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase. If you purchase a gift certificate, the recipient is considered the client. Please note that confidentiality between the client and counselor will not be broken by the gift giver as details about sessions, services, etc. will not be shared.
Client agrees to indemnify and hold DMD & Associates, Inc. and its employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, loss of income, earnings, compensatory claims, punitive damages, loss of consortium, loss of a position or any and all damages resulting from a denial of a position or denial of an interview for a position made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of our services or website. This indemnity shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
